New to Church?

Welcome! Whether you've just moved to the area, or have lived here all your life, we hope our website helps you to find out everything you want to know about our Church.

Key information about the church...

Where & when does the church meet?

Our Church meets every Sunday morning @ 10.30 am with Junior Church/Sunday School. Evening services are held at 6.00pm on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month.

We meet at:

Newry Street
Holyhead

You can see a map on our contact us page.

What should I expect when I visit the church?

Whether you have been to the church before, perhaps on holiday, or this is your first time, you will receive a warm welcome.

Our morning service consists of a time of singing together, a children's talk, praying, and the Bible reading and teaching.  The principal focus of both of our services is 'The Word of God'. Above the pulpit you will see a large sign that reads 'Thy Word is Truth' (John 17 v.17). We endeavour to merge this with every aspect of our lives.

The morning service starts at 10.30am and tends to be over by midday.

After the morning service, there is a panad (cuppa!) and biscuits, a great time to chat with folks.

The evening services, held twice a month, tend to be quieter and do not include a children's talk or Junior Church, although all ages are still welcome to attend! They are roughly an hour long.

What happens to the kids at church?

During the morning service, we hold a Junior Church/Sunday School downstairs in the schoolroom. This is run by experienced people, all DBS checked. All children are welcome to join in, leaving the main service after about 30 minute or equally are welcome to stay upstairs through the main service.

We also operate a 'Safe To Grow' policy which you can read if you so wish. As parents new to the church you are very welcome to accompany your children downstairs.

Is there a dress code?

No! Please just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes.

Will I have to join in?

Not at all! You are free to simply observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.

Is there disabled access?

There is a ramp up to the main door of the chapel with wheelchair access. There is a disabled toilet but it has to be reached via an external ramp around the side of the building.
